Arch & Godfrey 2026 Caymanian Apprentice Training Program Reaches Midway Point
July 31, 2026
Kristy Hurlston (Site Administrator at Arch & Godfrey’s New Cayman Brac High School project) – who was selected as one of Arch & Godfrey’s 2026 Caymanian apprentices – has reached the midway point of her 4-month apprentice training program. This training program – which began on June 1, 2026 – is aimed at developing key skills to facilitate Kristy’s transition to an expanded administrative role based in Grand Cayman upon the completion of her training.
Kristy said: “Since joining Arch & Godfrey on March 30, 2026, I have had the opportunity to grow professionally in a family-oriented work environment that values teamwork, training, and continuous development. The company is committed to investing in its employees, providing ongoing learning opportunities that have strengthened my skills and confidence. Working alongside supportive colleagues who function as a close-knit unit has made my experience both rewarding and enjoyable, fostering a strong sense of belonging and collaboration.”
Rafael B. Elias (Consultant, via “Elias Consulting”), who is overseeing Kristy’s 4-month training both on Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac, added: “Since first being identified at the February 23, 2026 ‘Hello2Hired’ recruitment drive by both myself and Frank Barnes (Project Manager), Kristy has proven herself to be a capable and driven individual – both in her primary role as a Site Administrator and in her capacity as a 2026 Arch & Godfrey apprentice. Kristy has been a notable asset at the New Cayman Brac High School project, and we look forward to welcoming her at our Mary Street head office in Grand Cayman following the completion of her ongoing training – where she will apply her administrative skills at a company-wide level.”
Arch & Godfrey is proud of its ongoing and long-term commitment to fostering the next generation of construction talent – particularly amongst the Caymanian workforce.
