The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa

The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa

Arch and Godfrey completed the first phase of a major renovation of The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort and Spa in 2016. This involved the refurbishment of 13,000 square feet of public spaces, in order to introduce a more contemporary aesthetic and a fresh design palette, which would enhance the guest experience. The lobby and reception were completely redesigned to create an open, welcoming space, retail stores were fitted out, washrooms modernised and relocated, the fitness centre refurbished and a new coffee shop selling grab-and-go snacks was built. Outdoors, the pool was expanded and a swim-up bar added, sun decks were redesigned, and towel huts, hot tubs and washrooms refreshed. An additional 3,500 square foot administration building was also constructed and fitted out in the same phase. Arch and Godfrey worked within an extremely tight schedule, completing all demolitions and restorations between July and December of the same year, and the hotel remained operational throughout.
